1. Determiners in Catalan can be classified as follows:
Articles
Definite articles (el, la, l’, els, les)
Indefinite articles (un, una, uns, unes)
Personal articles (en, na, n’)
Unstressed
possessives (mon, ma, mes…)
Stressed
possessives (meu, meva, meus, meves…)
Demonstratives
First
degree demonstratives (aquest, aquesta, aquests…)
Second
degree demonstratives (aqueix, aqueixa, aqueixos…)
Third
degree demonstratives (aquell, aquella, aquells…)
2. Determiners are a projection of Nouns. They agree in
gender and number with the noun they depend on.
